With substantial financial commitments to its community projects and activities, fundraising is a key function of the Junior League of New Orleans. Over the years, the League has developed a fundraising strategy that is not only profitable, but serves the community and provides opportunities that are educational and enjoyable for members.

Below is a list of our current fundraisers:  

Cookbooks, popular with Leagues across the nation, have a special place in food-centric New Orleans. JLNO's three popular cookbooks have sold hundreds of thousands of copies and garnered national awards.

Bloomin'DEALs Thrift Shop, the cornerstone of the League's fundraising efforts, provides affordable gently used clothing and household items to the New Orleans community. The League's dedication to stocking and manning a community thrift shop dates to its early years, when the first such shop was opened in 1927. Today, Bloomin'DEALs offers a wide variety of professional as well as casual clothing for men, women and children. Popular special sales add variety and excitement, and usually have customers lining up outside the door before opening time.  Bloomin' DEALs is located at 4645 Freret Street, (504) 891-1289.

Shopping Card a shopping card that will be able to be used at select retailers in the New Orleans area.  The card may be purchased through the Junior League and used from November 7 through November 15, 2009.
