After first joining Ochsner Health System as an Administrative Fellow in 2002, Beth now serves as Chief Executive Officer at Ochsner Baptist, a campus of Ochsner Medical Center. Ochsner Baptist is a 200+ bed facility, with advanced care provided by more than 1800 employees and 1100 physicians and advanced practice providers. In this role, Beth’s focus is largely on working in collaboration with her administrative and physician partners to create and execute on clinical and operational strategies to improve health and wellness in the community. She has been recognized as an “Up and Comer” (2013) by Modern Healthcare, as well as “100 Women Hospital and Health System Leaders to Know” (2015-2018) and “Rising Star: 25 Healthcare Leaders Under 40” (2015) by Becker’s Hospital Review.
Originally from Ohio, Beth holds a Master of Health Administration from The Ohio State University and is a Fellow of The American College of Healthcare Executives. Beth is very active in the local community, serving on the Board of Directors for the World Trade Center of New Orleans, Discovery Health Sciences Academy, and as Chairperson for the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce. She is also a longstanding member of the Junior League of New Orleans. In her spare time, Beth enjoys travel, running and yoga, as well as exploring anything the great city of New Orleans has to offer in terms of food, music and festivals.
