In line with its Advancing the Wellbeing of Women focus, JLNO will show the award-winning, short documentary Five Awake, which features five women working to strengthen Louisiana’s domestic violence laws.

The film’s featured State Legislators Helena Moreno and Jean-Paul Morrell will serve as guest speakers, sharing best practices in partnering with lawmakers to reach public policy goals.
