Annette’s work with Second Harvest since 1988 has included long-range strategic planning, annual work plans, budgeting, and the development of performance metrics. She is responsible for ensuring that all of the systems, policies and procedures are in place to sustain the mission, support the strategic goals and to mitigate risk. In 2010, Annette graduated from the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute (NORLI) and was named one of CityBusiness’ Women of the Year. Annette has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting and minor in management from UNO.
The Jones Group
Prior to starting The Jones Group of New Orleans in 2016, Yvette served in a variety of senior administrative roles at Tulane University during her tenure that spanned over three decades.
Drawing upon a successful career in higher education administration, Yvette’s areas of expertise include: strategic planning; board development, governance, and engagement; development operations assessment; talent building; and all aspects of campaign planning management.
While at Tulane she served as Executive Vice President for University Relations and Development, Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President for External Affairs, and Senior Vice President for Planning and Administration, among many other roles. Yvette was the architect of two of the largest campaigns in the history of the university and orchestrated funding that exceeds $1.6 billion.
Yvette is actively involved in the New Orleans community. She serves on the boards of the New Orleans BioInnovation Center, Metairie Park Country Day School, and Bricolage Academy. She also serves as board chair of the Dean’s Council at Tulane’s A.B. Freeman School of Business and as co-chair of the Campaign Committee for the Cowen Institute for Public Education Initiatives at Tulane University.
Yvette holds Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Business Administration degrees from Tulane University.
