Every year, Junior League of New Orleans members make immense strides in improving the community and enacting lasting change. We do this by training effective leaders and providing them with opportunities to develop themselves as well as our initiatives.

We invite our members and partners to join us at our annual celebration – The Passing of the Gavel – where the current year’s Board of Directors passes the administration of the organization to a new set of leaders. It is an opportunity to reflect on the past year’s successes and look forward to exciting new adventures. We will also be presenting our Community Assistance Fund recipients as well as our inaugural Scholarship awards.

Dinner is a three-course meal for $85, inclusive of tax and gratuity.

  • One hour cocktail reception (6:30pm-7:30pm): Call Bar
  • Salad:  Mixed Greens with Fire-Dried Pecans, Sliced Pears and Danish Bleu Cheese with Balsamic Vinaigrette
  • Entrée: Breast of Chicken Seasoned with Rosemary and Cracked Black Pepper and Slowly Roasted to Bring out the Natural Flavors
  • Dessert: Cheesecake with strawberry coulis

Dinner also includes wine, coffee service, hot tea, and iced tea upon request.
