Board of Directors

The Junior League of New Orleans strives to make a difference in the community by promoting the potential of women through voluntarism and leadership development. The organization’s Board of Directors is chosen from its membership of nearly 2,100 professional, compassionate women and leads the organization for a twelve-month term beginning June 1. As a group, they are responsible for governance and management, ensuring the League’s adherence to the Junior League mission, vision, and strategic plan.

COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Katie Coffman, katie@jlno.org

Katie works to develop and implement communications strategies to promote the league’s brand, mission, and goals. She manages internal and external communications, including media relations, social media, content creation, and public outreach to ensure consistent and effective messaging. 

 

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Torry Jacob Dean, torry@jlno.org

Torry provides business and operational support to headquarters, League members and League staff. She also manages volunteer shifts, member obligations, and headquarters maintenance.  She provides support to Sustainer Clubs, dues and Membership inquiries. In addition to carrying out operational maintenance to headquarters, she manages master calendar and supports the Board of Directors and Joint Council.

 

 

FUND DEVELOPMENT & COMMUNITY RELATIONS ADMINISTRATOR

Maria Huete, maria@jlno.org

Maria works directly to support the development, implementation, and coordination of a comprehensive resource development strategy and will partner with the members to provide expertise and guidance in fund development principles and the best practices that maximize fundraising opportunities and leadership development.
