As we mark the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, JLNO is proud to partner with United Way of Southeast Louisiana’s Women United, The New Orleans (LA) and The Pontchartrain (LA) Chapters of The Links, Incorporated, and the National Council of Jewish Women to host a special Mayoral Candidate Forum focused on issues impacting women and families in New Orleans.
Join us for a powerful evening of civic engagement as we welcome the leading candidates in the 2025 New Orleans mayoral race. This forum will center on the issues that matter most to women and families in our community—including economic inclusion, women’s health, maternal care, public safety, civic infrastructure, economic equity, and access to opportunity.
Two decades after Katrina, many of these challenges persist, making it more important than ever to hear directly from the candidates, ask meaningful questions, and help shape the future of our city.
