Explore! Honk! Play! TOUCH-A-TRUCK® is on its way! Join us for a weekend full of trucks, big machines, and family fun! From helicopters to bulldozers, fire engines to utility trucks, this family-favorite event lets kids (of all ages, including kids at heart) climb, explore, and learn about the machines—and the heroes—who keep our community safe and strong. TOUCH-A-TRUCK® features dedicated event hours designed to create an inclusive and enjoyable experience for all families, including early access opportunities, sensory-friendly quiet time, and special ticket promotions.

About the event
- 9 a.m. – VIP Early Access
- 10 a.m. – Doors open to all
- 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. – Sensory-Friendly Quiet Hour
- 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. – Half-price ticket hour
- 4 p.m. – Doors close
Sensory-Friendly Quiet Hour (2 to 3 p.m.) ensures an inclusive environment for children who may need a calmer experience where all loud noises and bright lights are turned off so children with sensory sensitivities can explore the vehicles comfortably.

*Hard Hat Helper is a donation that helps 10 children from an area school attend TOUCH-A-TRUCK® for free on Field Trip Friday. JLNO members may count their Hard Hat Helper contribution toward their Money to Mission requirement.

The Junior League of New Orleans (JLNO) offers five sponsorship tiers for TOUCH-A-TRUCK®, ranging from a $500 Excavator package up to the $7,500+ Heavy Hauler. Each tier comes with its own mix of event tickets, signage, social media mentions, and website placement.

Celebrate your birthday at TOUCH-A-TRUCK®
Rev up the birthday fun! For one day only, celebrate your child’s big day surrounded by some of the coolest trucks, vehicles, and machines in Greater New Orleans. Each party includes a private celebration space plus admission to TOUCH-A-TRUCK® for your guests.
Parties must be scheduled by October 31st.
All Party Packages Include:
- Private room in the Alario Center for 90 minutes
- 30 tickets to the event (with option to add additional tickets at the early-bird rate unless during VIP hour)
- Catering available for an additional fee through Messina’s Catering
- Bring your own birthday dessert / decorations
- Paper products provided
- Volunteers to help with set-up and clean-up after the party
Birthday Party Package Pricing:
- $700 – VIP Hour Party Package from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- $450 – Regular Hours Party Package between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- $350 – Sensory Hour Party Package from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
