As a financial advisor, Anitra Blue-Francis impacts the lives of the people you love the most!

She began her career in 2007 while completing an internship during her senior year of college while studying finance at Louisiana State University. She gained experience that would shape her career as a Chartered Financial Consultant, ChFC® 

She has been recognized for her dedication and expertise with Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum awards within her first 4 years of practicing and has been notably recognized as a Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) advisor. She was also recognized by New Orleans City Business as 2018 Money Maker and was an Emerge Summit + Millennial Award nominee. 

While managing her financial practice she is also the Growth Development Director for the greater New Orleans area where she is responsible for recruiting, training and developing new advisors. 

When she isn’t planning her client’s financial future she is advocating for equality, liberty and justice for all as a board member of the American Civil Liberties Union, ACLU, of Louisiana. She also is one of the founding members of the Women’s Field Association, the first-of-its-kind in the industry that serve as a magnet for attracting and developing the next generation of female talent in financial services. In addition, Anitra works with other leaders within the industry on the task force for Sustained Action for Racial Equity to drive specific pillars and workstreams forward to fight against systematic racism. 

She is married to Byron Francis, Jr. and they have two children, Hunter Joseph (age 7) and Avery Nicole (age 5). She enjoys running, playing and listening to music with her children, outdoor activities with her husband and creating more memories with family and close friends. 

Anitra’s core values are consistency, accountability and knowledge. Her daily prayer is to have the opportunity to impact the lives of the people she encounters and that their ears and hearts are open to the planning that is best for their future.
