October 3: Pumpkin Painting Party
Bring the kiddos for a fun Halloween family day at JLNO Headquarters for mini pumpkin decorating and a kids costume contest! We will supply the mini pumpkins and decorations/paint. We will also be playing “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” on the projector! Please plan to bring your own Halloween candy/snacks/drinks to enjoy while painting, as this will not be provided. This is a prepay event. You must register for this event through Digital Cheetah to secure your pumpkin. If you or your kiddos plan on pumpkin decorating, please RSVP through Digital Cheetah for the paid option ($10 fee) registration to secure your pumpkin! For planning purposes, these is also a free option registration for family or friends who attend but won’t be painting a pumpkin!
October 15: Yoga Happy Hour
Join the Esprit committee for our Yoga Happy Hour at 6:30 pm via Zoom! This will be a beginner-friendly yoga class instructed by Drunk Yoga® for your enjoyment with beverage in-hand. Wine or Water, it’s all fun! Registration is $30/person to be paid via Digital Cheetah/
A beginner-friendly yoga class infused with a lil’ dancing, a lil’ sipping, and lots of fun, interactive group games to lift your spirit(s) and build community, all via Zoom with an instructor.
October 24: Haunted French Quarter Walking Tour
Get into the Halloween spirit and join us at 4:00 pm for a fun-filled walking tour full of New Orleans ghost stories! We’ll learn tales of local hauntings as we explore the spookier side of the French Quarter. Tickets cost $21 and must be purchased in advance. All league members and guests are welcome. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes – the walking distance will be just under one mile.
November 7: JAMNOLA Private Tour
Join the Esprit Committee at 9:30 am for a private tour at JAMNOLA. The tour will start at 10am. This event is open to all members, guests and children accompanied by an adult. JAMNOLA stands for Joy, Art & Music – New Orleans. JAMNOLA is New Orleans’ first experiential pop-up that takes audiences of all ages on a topsy-turvy stroll through the cultural gems that make the city so special. Enjoy 12 exhibits celebrating the iconic art, music, food and theatrics of New Orleans through the eyes of 20+ local artists and creative partners. Due to COVID-19 safety regulations, this event is limited to 25 guests. Guests and JAMNOLA staff are required to wear masks at all times. ***You may not remove your mask for photos.*** All guests that purchase a ticket or enter JAMNOLA are subject to JAMNOLA’s Damage Waiver, a COVID-19 Notice and a COVID-19 Assumption of Risk, Waiver & Release. Each guest will be deemed to have consented to the terms of such agreement by purchasing a ticket or entering JAMNOLA.
